Fulham
continued an impressive home record and beat Tottenham in
the dying minutes of the game. Carlos Bocanegra scored
the lone goal of the match in the 90th minute off a free
kick just outside the 18 yard box.
Michael
Dawson was dismissed in the 72nd minute after committing a
second bookable offence. Tom Huddlestone made his
Tottenham first team debut after being substituted into the
match for Andy Reid in the 26th minute. Jermain Defoe
replaced starting striker Grzegorz Rasiak in the 70th
minute.
Paul
Stalteri played 90 minutes. Canadian International
Fulham player Tomasz Radzinski started off on the bench, but
replaced Sylvain Legwinski in the 23rd minute and played the
remainder of the match.

Harry Kewell scored the
only goal of the match in the 59th minute to give
Liverpool the win at Anfield. Liverpool have
narrowed the gap between Manchester United to one point,
with two games in hand.
The Spurs remain in fourth
place with 40 points. Egyptian striker Mido
returned from his international commitments in the
African Nations Cup for the match and will return to
Egypt again until they are eliminated from the
tournament. Ledley King and Edgar Davids returned
to the starting line-up after recovering from injury.
Paul Stalteri received a
red card for a professional foul on Kewell in the 87th
minute.

Preview
Tottenham are away to Liverpool on
Saturday afternoon. Kick off at Anfield will be at
15.00.
Liverpool are in third place with
two games in hand. They are one point ahead of
Tottenham who are on 40 points in fourth place.
Spurs coach Martin Jol welcomes back
Ledley King, Edgar Davids, Andy Reid and Young-Pyo Lee
from injury. The only player that Jol will be
missing from his squad is Nouriddine Naybet who is away
at the African Nations Cup representing Morocco.

Stalteri scored his first goal for Tottenham, but
unfortunately the Spurs were unable to keep a two goal lead.
Leicester fought back from the two goal deficit and scored
three goals to take them into the fourth round of the FA
Cup.
It is the
second time Tottenham are faced with an early exit after
suffering defeat to Grimsby in the Carling Cup this season.
Jermaine
Jenas opened the scoring in the 20th minute. Paul
Stalteri's rifling shot in the 41st minute appeared to have
sealed the game for Tottenham, but Leicester pressed on and
Elvis Hammond scored just before the half. Leicester
midfielder Stephen Hughes tied the game in the 57th minute
and the Mark de Vries scored the winner in the 90th minute.

Stalteri played 90 minutes.

their last eight matches and won three of their four matches
played during the Christmas season.
Mido scored
for the Spurs in the 31st minute from a well placed pass
from Aaron Lennon. Robbie Keane doubled the score in
the 83rd minute. Paul Stalteri played 90 minutes.
The next
fixture for the Spurs is a FA Cup match against Leicester
City on Sunday January 8th. The next Premiership
fixture is against Liverpool on Saturday January 14th.
Liverpool are currently one point ahead of Tottenham in the
standings.
