Tottenham
took a vital three points at JJB Stadium Saturday afternoon.
I was Tottenham's first win in four game and they are now in
5th place with 24 points.
An early
goal by Robbie Keane put Tottenham ahead in the 8th minute.
Edgar Davids doubled the lead in the 77th minute, it was his
first goal for Tottenham. Wigan scored two minutes
from time, but were unable to find the equalizer before the
final whistle.
Paul
Stalteri played 90 minutes and was awarded his third yellow
card of the season in injury time.
The game

Tottenham
will be at JJB Stadium to face second place Wigan on
Saturday afternoon. Paul Jewell's side has been
very impressive so far this season and has shown that even a
newly promoted team can do well in Premiership. Wigan
are currently in second place behind leaders Chelsea.
Noe Parmarot
is in the squad for Tottenham the first time since
sustaining his knee injury last season. Martin Jol is
pleased to have all of his players back in training although
not all are game fit.

After taking
an early lead at White Hart Lane an injury time equalizer by
Anton Ferdinand denied Tottenham a home victory in the
London derby.
Mido scored
his fourth goal of the season when he comfortably headed the
ball past the West Ham keeper in the 16th minute.
Paul
Stalteri played 90 minutes and was shown his second yellow
card of the season in the 29th minute.

Monday
November 7th
Bolton Wanderers 1 Tottenham

Tottenham have fallen to 6th
place in the Premiership after their first away defeat of
the campaign. The Spurs have two defeats so far this
season, the other coming at home against Chelsea.
Bolton's Kevin Nolan scored
the only goal of the game in the 32nd minute. Jermain
Defoe scored a goal just minutes after, however, the goal
was controversially ruled offside. The Spurs pressed
on but were unable to score the equalizer. Mido hit
the post in the 84th minute and Paul Stalteri hit the
crossbar in stoppage time.
The next Premiership match
will be on Sunday November 20th against West Ham at White
Hart Lane.

Following the weekend
Premiership results, both Tottenham and Bolton will be
looking for a win on Monday evening to boost their position
in the standings. Both teams are level on 20 points
going into the match, Tottenham are ahead on goal
differential.
Bolton have an impressive
home record so far this season, with only one defeat.
They have only conceeded one goal at the Reebok in all
competitions and that came on the opening day against
Everton, the only match they went on to lose at home.
Tottenham coach Martin Jol
welcomes back Edgar Davids after he served his one match
suspension.
