Paul Stalteri looks forward to the Champions
League |
 |
Werder Bremen is travelling to Milan on Monday as they
prepare for their first Champions League match
versus Inter Milan. The game will be played
Tuesday September 14th at 8:45pm (local time).
For Paul
Stalteri the Champions League has always been a
personal goal of his, and he looks forward to playing
against the elite teams of Europe.
After
a disappointing start the the Bundesliga season, Paul
Stalteri believes that the team needs to stay focused
while working together to achieve their goals. "We
definitely need some work at adapting to the changes
from last year, however I believe that the team along
with the coach are willing to work hard until we are
back on track".
The
competition in the Champions League will definitely be a
challenge for Werder Bremen. "Everyone who was a member of the
Championship team last year knew that this year would
not be easy, but Champions League football will be a
good experience for our team."
Paul
Stalteri is looking forward to visiting to the San Siro
on Tuesday. "The San Siro is a historical
stadium and Inter Milan is a massive club. We need
to play a very disciplined game and work to get a good
result."
